On May 29, 2015, the President signed bill H.R. 2353 – Highway and Transportation Funding Act of 2015 into law (public law no. 114-21). This bill provides a two month funding extension for federal-aid highway programs, which ends July 31, 2015. Moving Ahead for Progress in the 21st Century Act (MAP-21) is one of these federal programs.
